About Marla

Hi! I'm Marla! I've spent the last 8 years working in early childhood education, including as a childcare center director, so kids are definitely my comfort zone. I've worked with children of all ages, personalities, and needs, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each child unique. I'm not the babysitter who's going to sit on the couch staring at my phone. I'm happy to play games, do crafts, read the same book 14 times , help with homework, play outside, or just follow your child's lead. I'm also comfortable with routines, boundaries, meals, and bedtime. I'm CPR/First Aid trained and have extensive early childhood education coursework. I'm dependable, safety-minded, and big on communication; whether you want pictures and updates throughout the night or just want to enjoy your evening knowing your kids are in good hands!
