About Marlene

As a caregiver with three years of experience, I'm committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. My passion for childcare stems from my previous babysitting roles, where I discovered my ability to positively impact children's lives. I am patient, calm, and friendly. I believe in clear communication with parents and follow their preferred method, whether it's verbal communication at pickup or through other means. Regarding household rules, I adhere to the parents' guidelines to ensure consistency for the child. My approach to play includes a variety of activities, from outdoor sports and physical games to board games, puzzles, and technology-based games. I believe in fostering a balance between physical, mental, and emotional development. In addition to my experience, I have completed coursework in early child development and hold a CPR certification. I also have my own car with up to date insurance, and currently am attending college as well.
