I'm a 25-year-old child caregiver who majored in Developmental Psychology. I've been working with children since I was 12 from tutoring to babysitting. I'm very patient and nurturing and have a great understanding of how the smallest things we do can affect a child emotionally and mentally. My consciousness of that and my empathetic nature makes me an ideal person to care for your child. I recently worked with a family taking care of a set of twins (from 6 months old to 3 years old) and their older sister from 1-year-old to 4 years old.) I currently work with a 2-year-old on weekdays (started at 6 months!) On weekends I work with a set of twins who are currently 2 months old! I'm full of energy and can keep up with the most active of children. I'm here to build loving, trusting safe spaces for the child/children and make things as easy as I can for the parents! I enjoy childcare immensely and I'm also really great with pets! Looking forward to curating essential relationships :)
Marsha is an outstanding nanny. She joined our family in September 2021, when our twins were 6 months old and our oldest child had just turned 2, and she quickly became an indispensable part of our household. From day one, Marsha brought a playful energy and genuine warmth that our children immediately responded to. At the playground and park, she was the nanny actively playing with the kids rather than watching from the sidelines. At home, she struck a wonderful balance between engaging directly with our children and encouraging independent play, while also helping with the many responsibilities that come with a busy household. Marsha integrated into our family naturally from the start. She was flexible, receptive to feedback, dependable, and consistently caring and nurturing with our children. She also reinforced good habits, politeness, and respectful behavior in a thoughtful and gentle way — and she extended that same care and attentiveness to our dogs, including helping a new dog settle into our home. Although our family’s needs changed and Marsha eventually stopped working with us full-time, our relationship with her never ended. We have remained close and have continued relying on her regularly for babysitting ever since. Recently we welcomed newborn twins into our home through fostering, and Marsha has been an enormous help to us on weekends. She has been excellent with infant care while also helping to manage the needs of a very full and busy house. Our older children — now 5, 5, and almost 7 — still absolutely adore her and get genuinely excited whenever they know she is coming. Marsha is caring, energetic, trustworthy, and truly exceptional with children. Any family would be fortunate to have her.
