About Martha
Experience: 10 yrs
RN and experienced caregiver including wound healing. I'm currently working for the last 1 1/2 years in Cumberland Crossing providing nursing care and companionship to an active 93-year-old woman and her dog. I excel in: cleaning, shopping, taking care of plants and animals, walks and exercise, med management, doctor and vet visits, outings such as movies, fairs, horse therapy, coordinating schedules. My senior care experience includes several years I dedicated full-time to my mother while she was in her 90s. Though mom had dementia she was conversant and led a full and active life at home to 95 because I used my skills to keep her safe at home. I love dogs, cats, love taking care of plants, and have owned horses. My schedule is often flexible.

Martha has a lot of patience with my mother! She is very reliable and has been flexible when my mother’s schedule has changed. We had also been trying to get my mother to get out and do things rather than just sit and home but Martha was actually successful at getting her out. She has also picked up on health problems that my mother or her dog were having. I live two hours away so I have to rely on the caregivers for updates and Martha has been very good at doing so. She is also very good at finding activities my mother might like. I feel very comfortable knowing my mother is in good hands.
