About Martha

Bilingual and passionate about early childhood education -- I ran my own Spanish immersion preschool, taught Spanish preschool, and substitute taught lower elementary, starting in daycare/preschool back in 2006. As a mom of two teenagers, I know firsthand what it takes to build good habits early, and I treat every child the way I'd want mine cared for -- with patience, structure, and lots of fun. I'm nurturing, creative, and patient. My favorite part is that immediate reward -- watching a kid's face light up when they figure something out or learn something new. I'm looking for a family that values flexibility and trust on both sides, since I also care for my own kids. I bring bilingual skills, hands-on creativity, and a strong sense of style -- crafts, music, and outdoor play. Outside of work I love cooking, dancing, traveling, and spending time with my kids.
