About Martine

While I may be new to professional caregiving as a job, I currently care for my own 89-year-old father who lives with me. I am fortunate to have adult children who are nurses and first responders so I have a lot of help. I am working on finding a place for myself in retirement. I am retiring early from my job in criminal justice. It has been a challenging time for me. my approach with all people is a, calm one. I am friendly and like to talk with people. I respect senior's independence. I can help with errands, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I'm also comfortable de-escalating stressful situations, handling confusion, bouts of sundown and I can incorporate fun memory care activities as I have with my own senior parent. I will follow your preferred communication method to keep you informed. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm and skills to your loved one's care.
