About Mary Anne

I am writing to tell you about our wonderful experience with Mary Anne C as our nanny for our four year-old and infant boys during 2019 and 2020. When Mary Anne joined us, our older boy had recently been diagnosed with autism and was having regular visits with a behavioral specialist to ready him for preschool and beyond, so we knew about best practices around how to support our son. From the beginning of her time with us, we were pleased that Mary Anne was in sync with how we parents and the specialist were already relating with him. Mary Anne provided a calm, trustable atmosphere that allowed him to organize his experience and play by himself and with her in an organized and more creative way. He had easy and fun days with her, playing at home and at the nearby park and library, and enjoying meals and snacks. Diaper changes, naps and helping with his laundry were also relaxed and often sprinkled with laughter. When our younger son was 2.5 months old and I was ready to resume working from home, we were happy to have Mary Anne, who provided the same kind of gentle, grounded care that allowed our baby to be quite comfortable and attached to her and to have a mellow, cozy experience with her.
