About Mary-anne

I grew up on a dude ranch so I have always been around people who are older. We get a lot of grandparents bringing their grandchildren. When I was in high school I volunteered at a senior center 3 days a week. We would play bingo, cards, I would help the ladies do their nails, sit while the men told stories of the old days. I also moved down to Florida part time so that I could be with my grandparents. They are in their 80's and need help. I help run various errands for them, stay with my grandmother as a companion at times, and help with some light house keeping. I believe that there is much to learn from people who are older than I am and I would really like to give back to them. I think that it is a good thing to do.
