The privilege is mine when I can work with children on a daily basis. In-home nannying is a passion for me as I can tailor my care giving to the family's needs. This really seems to help the caregiving connection between myself and the family go as smoothly as possible. I have also worked in daycare settings where I was able to work with school age children all the way down to toddlers and infants. I love them all for different reasons. I have experience cooking and cleaning in my home and have cleaned in a corporate setting as well. I've worked in both office and summer camp settings and cared for disabled people too. I have3 children. The oldest is 32 and the youngest is 25. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of St Benedict in St Joseph, Minnesota and am CPR certified. I will care for your child as if that child were my own to the degree it is possible to do that. I look forward to the possibility of helping your family!

Maryellen took care of our 7 month old like her own grandchild, singing to him, reading books, playing with him, putting him on a schedule for nap times. He actually started to take longer naps with Maryellen around, that’s her magic. My baby just loved to be with her, melting in her arms. She is an absolute delight to be around and amongst other things I love about her, I found her keeping me in the loop of baby’s schedule for the day and new developmental milestone checks very helpful. No amount of words can describe our appreciation for Maryellen well enough. She is a wonderful person with a kind soul, with love for children.
