About Mary

Hi! I'm a Ph. D. student in Sociology and have been living in the area for about a year. I have several years of childcare experience, beginning with babysitting for my younger sibling and neighborhood families while growing up. Currently, I work as a substitute teacher in a local private school system, giving me experience working with children of all ages from Pre-K through 12th grade. In addition, I worked as a lifeguard for more than seven years, where I developed strong skills in supervision and safety. I have experience in CPR and First Aid and prioritize creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children. I am responsible, dependable, and enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and have fun. Growing up playing sports has taught me the importance of physical movement and I hope to pass along the enjoyment of being outdoors and active. I look forward to connecting with you and providing reliable, attentive care for your children!
