About Mary

My name is Mary, I'm 35 years old, and I am an Instructional Aide at an elementary school in Waxahachie. I'll be graduating with my teaching degree in Dec 24. My experience caring for children began with babysitting at the age of 13. In high school, I worked in a tutoring center. Throughout college, I helped to run after-school programs for inner-city kids. I spent 2 summers as a camp counselor at a camp for kids from 7 to 16. After that, I became a teacher's aide in a small private school, where I assisted in a classroom of 24 4- and 5-year-olds. I also helped to run the school's after-school program. I spent 2 years as a full-time nanny for 3 beautiful kids, ages 5, 7 and 9. I currently work with 3rd-5th grade students. I am passionate about equipping the next generation for success in all areas of life, by using my influence to positively impact them. I know parents work so hard to raise their kids in a way that sets them up for success, and I aim to honor and support that work.
