About Mary

I am a Registered Nurse who has spent the last 15 years caring for seniors. Initially my role is often companionship, but as time passes, my role transitions to providing medical care and I serve as a communicator with medical providers. Prior to in-home roles, I was employed a Registered Nurse on an inpatient unit with seniors suffering mostly from Alzheimer's and dementia. I am kind, gentle, organized, and detail oriented. I have extensive experience working with the elderly, both in the hospital setting and the home setting. I am familiar with Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care insurance policies and have assisted families with obtaining services they didn't know were available. I can be a great resource for families who are seeking advice about how to care for aging family members.
