About Mary

Hi! I'm Mary. I am outgoing, adventurous, thoughtful, active and patient. I have experience caring for all ages, including 3 and 7-year-old siblings, 3 siblings ages 3 mo-4 yo, and multi-age group as a summer camp counselor as a lifeguard and kayak instructor. I have taught and volunteered in elementary, middle and high school classrooms and was selected as a Fulbright scholar to teach in Madrid, Spain. I have also served as a live-in volunteer at a children's home for orphaned youth ages 7-18 in Peru and was a literacy tutor in Maine during college. I love spending time with kids and helping them learn. I enjoy taking kids to the beach, library, museums, playground, walks, and finding adventures and activities to keep kids active and entertained.
