About Mary

Hello. I am a very experienced nursing assistant . I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, in patients' own homes . I have taken care of people with cancer , dementia (beginning and late stage ), ALS, Huntington's Disease, stroke , paralysis. Also I have helped people with broken hips , legs , and done wonders to help them move on to become themselves again . I have taken care of hospice patients and their family members during this hard transition. I first started in 2001 with a girl , 18 years old that had been in a car accident. She now a quadrapalegic . I believe this is , where I knew I needed to help people in a time when no one else would. I worked in Sloan Kettering in NYC , for 10 years in administration . That always bothered me that I did nothing more than the person's paperwork . I became a vet asistant . I adore all animals . I cannot write more on myself here -it does not give me the space .
