About Mary

I am a 25-year-old (she/her) who graduated from Boston College in December 2020, where I majored in Applied Psychology (Lynch School of Education and Human Development) and English. While at BC, I also gained experience and knowledge from my completed coursework in Elementary Education. As a writer in process/progress, an aspiring author, and a future school psychologist, my central beliefs are in empathy, inclusivity, and meaningful communication. My passions include creative expression, child guidance/learning/care, writing, and music. I'd describe my personality as caring, enthusiastic , and kind. Some of my child care skills include communicating meaningfully (through fun/goofy conversation and/or big feelings and emotions), fostering self-expression through creative projects and active play, and finding the fun in any day!
