About Mary

I have been babysitting since I was a teenager. My love of working with children has grown with me and followed me into college; I have just completed a degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Oneonta and I am hoping to use this degree to work with at-risk youth. I am currently a camp counselor and have been for 5 years. During the school year, I am a substitute teacher in a local school district and will be volunteering at a mental health clinic for at-risk teens this fall. Since I began sitting, over seven years ago, I have worked with children of all ages and with many different needs. For the past couple of years, I have been consistently sitting for a family with two girls, ages two and four. It has been a pleasure to watch them grow up. Now they are both in school and I am looking for another family that needs a loving, active sitter.
