About Mary

Hi, my name is Mary. I am a retired elementary school teacher with a Master's degree in Teaching and 23 years of experience. I spent many of those years with kindergarten and first grade students, which has always been my favorite age group. I have three grown children of my own, and caring for children has always been a big part of my life. I am patient, kind, and attentive. I create a warm and supportive environment where children feel safe and confident. I love hands on activities that help children stay curious and engaged. Reading together is one of my favorite things to do. Read alouds are so important for building vocabulary and a love of books. We'll also play games and enjoy outdoor fun. I am very reliable and am looking for a position with a regular weekly schedule. I look forward to working together with you as a team to support your child's growth.
