Infant teacher for five years at an Early Childhood Academy. Responsible for following feeding schedules, diaper changes, naptimes. reading, dancing, playtime and all age-appropriate activities for the 6 weeks to 12-month-old classroom. Became a full-time caregiver for elderly parent for six years. Became a toddler teacher at a licensed childcare facility for the last 2 years, until center permanently closed. The classroom was 18-month to 24-month-old toddlers. My responsibilities included diapering, feeding, naptime, playtime activities with infants and toddlers. The toddlers followed the center's daily curriculum, which included learning activities, creative play, and outdoor play and artwork. I was responsible for following the Center's daily schedule so the children learned about daily transitions. I have completed 45 hours of DCF exams and certified in CPR and First Aid Training.
