I have been a Nanny for five years and am interested in pivoting into "Night Nurse" work, taking care of infants overnight so that parents can sleep, a role I performed for my sister when her twins were born. Growing up, I helped my mother care for my younger siblings, and I babysat extensively in high school and college. Over the last five years, I have worked with several families in Manhattan and have been a full-time caregiver for a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old since 2022. I truly enjoy children and find caring for them deeply fulfilling.

Mary cared for our infant daughter as an Overnight Nanny for three months. She is kind, responsible, punctual, trustworthy, and well-versed in sleep training, feeding routines, and overall infant well-being. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!


Mary was an absolute dream with our infant son. She was always making sure she was doing everything exactly how we wanted and asked a lot of questions about our son's preferences to ensure he was happy and felt safe. She took direction well and was very accommodating to all our requests. She was also very invested in our son's enrichment and development and would try to give him fun experiences and help him practice new skills. Beyond that, she is really friendly and personable and just an overall lovely person.

Mary has been everything we wanted and more in caring for our 6 month old baby. She is always on time and she reliably and happily carries out all the responsibilities of taking care of a baby.  She is also a great person and very easy to get along with. Our son was accepted to a daycare otherwise we would love to continue with her as a full time nanny.

My family moved to New York City during the height of the pandemic in 2020. We both have full-time jobs and had no one to care for our seven-year-old twins over the summer. 

Thankfully, we found Mary. She was kind and professional, and the kids enjoyed spending time with her. She played with them, read to them, took them for walks, and took them swimming. She really helped us out during a challenging time.

I would highly recommend Mary to anyone looking for someone to watch their children. She is wonderful.

Mary worked for my family m-f after school for about 5 months. My kids (4 and 6) would have given her 5 stars too! Mary was always on time, stayed late if we needed her to, played with my kids, told them funny stories all the time and handled then perfectly too when misbehaving- and communicated really well with me!

Mary is fantastic. She's warm, detail-oriented and great with my toddler. I quickly trusted her to bring my daughter to classes and the playground. She has great intuition and my only hesitation in writing this review is that more people will find out how wonderful she is and book her time before I can.

Mary was fantastic! She watched our two kids - a 14-month-old and a 4.5 year old - and everything went very smoothly. Mary was punctual, friendly, down-to-earth, responsible, caring, and is good with kids. I would definitely use Mary again, and highly recommend her!

I have known Mary very well for over 20 years.  She is a dedicated, mature, conscientious and reliable. She adores children and relates well to them.She has cared for my 2 and 5 year old on several occasions. They adore her. What I like about Mary's care is that is an involved caregiver. For example, she colours, does play dough and outings with the kids. 
She is a good example, is honest  and has a great sense of humour. I would hire Mary in an instant without reservation.  However, I moved to Vancouver for my husband's career before we had a family.

I loved working with Mary. Mary is highly skilled with children of all ages. She is also great with parents. She is attentive to parent's instructions and requests. You can be confident that your children will be well cared for.

Mary is great with kids, they just adore her.  She's  kind, responsible, and resourceful. She would be a huge asset to any household.

Mary is kind, warm, and compassionate. She listened attentively when I went over my son's schedule, likes and dislikes, and where everything was, and asked thoughtful questions to fill in any gaps. She knew exactly how to keep him occupied when we left, thereby mitigating any potential separation anxiety or tears (none were shed by anybody!). Books were read, games were played, and bedtime was a breeze. I'm looking forward to our next night out so Mary can come over again!

Mary is everyone's favorite Auntie! She has helped raise her siblings and is a natural mother-figure. I have left my son in her care many times, and she is adept and loving at all times. I can confidently recommend Mary for nannying. You will return to a well-loved, happy child who has wonderful manners to boot!
