I've been a professional nanny for over 10 years now. I am a mom to three well-educated and successful adult children, and a former elementary school teacher (over 10yr, including time as a substitute teacher at Golestan preschool, Berkeley). My native language is Persian, and I read, write, and speak well in English. As a nanny, I cared for a baby girl (from 3m to 10m) before her family relocated east, another girl (from 6m to 2yr), and a full-time nanny for over 5yr to siblings: a boy (2yr) and girl (5yr). It's been such a pleasure to have nurtured both children through their infant and early childhood milestones, and most recently, to see the youngest off to preschool. I'll be available for a full-time nanny position from mid-January 2024 and am looking forward to finding the next family with whom I can share my experience. I look forward to hearing from you.

Marzieh helped us bridge a gap in childcare for our 18 month old daughter. (Our previous nanny had to leave for a family emergency, and we needed two weeks of M-F 9-5 coverage before her new daycare began). We could not have been luckier in hiring Marzieh. Our daughter Miriam was in a pretty strongly mom-attached phase, but she and Marzieh bonded immediately and had a wonderful, easy, and worry-free two weeks together. Marzieh was 100% dependable, self-directed, and quickly became a loving, trusted member of our family in such a short time. Our only regret is that we had to say goodbye to her so soon!
