About Matthew

I am from Pearl River, NY and am looking for tutoring opportunities on evenings and weekends with middle and high school students. I have a passion for mentoring others and helping students learn and grow, so I'm very excited to begin working with students! I graduated from Tulane University in May 2023 with a degree in Business Law, with minors in Accounting and Classics. My broad education allowed me to develop a strong set of mathematic, writing, reading, and technology skills. During my summers in college, I led three groups of high school students on community service trips to Latin America. Here, I was responsible for the safety and well-being of all participants and navigated emergency situations abroad using my quick thinking and Spanish-speaking skills. Throughout college, I've also been the go-to tutor in my family, helping my younger siblings and cousins improve their grades and complete assignments across all subjects.
