About Maura

Hi! My name is Maura. I'm from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, and I'm a third-year student at SEC majoring in Kinesiology on the Pre-Med track. I've always loved caring for others. Back home, I took care of my younger brother, cousins, and helped local families. I cherished bringing joy and making a positive impact on children's lives. In Austin, I stay active with research, school clubs, and volunteering at Mass. I also worked as a Hostess at Perla's in South Congress where I learned how to multitask, stay professional, and thrive in a past-paced environment. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, nature, chess, golf, and spending time with my friends. I'm joyful, reliable, and love making others smile. I'm free most afternoons after 2 p.m. (except on Thursdays) with flexible weekends. Excited to care for children and create fun memories!
