I have worked with children for over 30 years. We moved here from Pa where I was a nanny for over 20 years and then worked for The Goddard School for 13 years. During the years at The Goddard School I cared for infants through age 5 and I specialized at teaching Chess to young children through a program called Chess at 3. We moved here and lived in Cooper City until we purchased our house in PSL. While I was in Cooper City I was a nanny and a substitute Preschool teacher. For your assurance, working within schools requires regular training courses, extensive background checks and staying CPR and first aid certified. My only restriction is that I cannot work in a household with cats due to an allergy. I am not allergic to dogs and love helping care for them also. Maureen was the first baby sitter my wife and I had ever used, and she couldn't have been better. We have a 2.5 year old boy and identical twin 5 month old girls. It's a lot to handle, and a lot for a parent to trust a care giver with... But Maureen is extremely qualified and capable. She connected with our son very quickly (not easy, he can be shy), and she follows our tedious instructions for the twins. She's excellent, you won't regret using her for your child care.
