About Maurissa

My name is Maurissa, so nice to meet you! I have over three years of hands-on experience in home nursing to adults and children who are disabled. I currently work part time as an aid helping clients in all kinds of activities of daily living. This includes bathing, toileting, light housekeeping tasks, cleaning, pet care, and meal prep. Personal hygiene care such as skincare, hair, nails, and oral care, are well within my limits of care as well. I take pride in taking care of my clients, making them feel comfortable, cared for, and most of all safe. My social skills allow me to provide meaning full conversations to clients in a respectful manner. Ensuring they have the socialization and companionship they need, a huge part of healing. I do have my own transportation that is fully insured. If the clients health and family allows it, I am comfortable running errands, transporting to doc apts, grocery shop, or pick up prescriptions.
