Emmanuel (Marlo) has been our sitter for well over a year now and we consider him a part of the family. Our son is 14 and has autism - which mostly shows up as a lot of repetitive behaviors, very fast talking about only his preferred topics and either being glued to your side or acting like you don’t exist - but he LOVES when mom & dad have date night so he can have his Emmanuel time. Emmanuel has shown exceptional patience, caring, adaptability, sensitivity and professionalism in the way he treats our son, us and our home. He’s a gentle soul, smart and wise - exactly the type of personality you’d want around your kids of any age or need. Trustworthiness is a huge factor when hiring from sites like care.com and we’ve never had a doubt or concern about Emmanuel - not even for a second. If you’re thinking about hiring him, I couldn’t recommend him more - just make sure you leave some time for our date nights!
