About Mazy

My name is Mazy and I have 6 years of professional childcare experience in private babysitting, nurseries, daycare centers, Montessori programs, and elementary schools. Over the past year I have been enjoying working with infants, toddlers, and early childhood ages. I am very comfortable newborn care, feeding, nap schedules, potty training, and creating calm, nurturing environments. My greatest strength is in literacy training and designing creative activities. I have a passion for reading, phonics, arts and crafts, and helping children regulate through a healthy balance of structure, creativity, free play, and downtime. As a former after-school counselor, I helped Pre-K and Kindergarten students build foundational reading skills and destress through art and music. This was my most rewarding experience. Families describe me as sweet, peaceful, and organized. I am CPR/First Aid certified and currently seeking recurring afternoon and evening care near the University of Florida area.
