About Mckenna

I'm a 5th PhD candidate in cell and molecular biology, specializing in neuroscience. I'm a former EMT, a marathoner, and I own my home in Westminster where I keep backyard chickens and a tomato garden. PhDs are (mostly) boring and kids are fun! I'm looking for some babysitting to get me out of the house while I write my dissertation. I have been babysitting/nannying on and off for 12 years, so I have extensive childcare experience. I would be particularly well-suited for a kid interested in STEM, because I can answer almost ANY question. I have taken a couple courses in early childhood development, neurodevelopment, and childhood learning. I love animals and I will be comfortable with pets around. I have a strong track record of being reliable, honest, and responsible. I'm very excited to hang out with a baby or kids to break up the monotony of being an adult all the time!
