About Meagan

Hello, my name is Meagan, I am new to the Care. com community but well established in the world of child care and household management! I've been a nanny for 13 years and have been in love with the profession since. I have worked in households, nannying services, and classrooms(infant classroom all the way to pre-k). Toddlers were especially my favorite age group to work with and teach, they are always full of surprises and fun! I also have experience working with infants and toddlers that are diagnosed with Autism. That also includes working with speech therapy and occupational therapy as well. Here are some other teachings I hold dear! I believe that children have voices and it is up to us to listen. I can hold hands, wipe tears, be a friend, and also be a teacher for them. I want them to learn and grow while at the same time I learn and grow with them. The smiles and laughter I share with people I try, and want, to spread to others and I want to pass that message along.
