About Megan

Hi! I'm Megan! I'm an LPN and current college student looking for part-time or as-needed childcare opportunities. I'm very flexible and comfortable caring for children of all ages. My nursing experience has given me the opportunity to care for people with many different needs and personalities. During my clinicals, I helped care for an group of toddlers around age 2, and I've also worked with pediatric patients in a hospital setting. I have experience with adolescents in a psychiatric setting as well as individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities ranging from children to adults. Working in healthcare has taught me to be patient, observant, compassionate, and comfortable handling unexpected situations. I'm someone who asks questions when I'm unsure, pays attention to the little things, and takes safety seriously. I also genuinely enjoy interacting with children and helping them feel comfortable, heard, and cared for.
