I have watched from the young at heart always on the go to dementia. I have watched as dementia takes over and how quickly they become dependent on you. This includes emptying the ostomy bag, changing clothes when needed, dysphagia (thickening foods) and sentences start fading to a word or a hum. I have experience in running errands and going out on different outings for the more alert and outgoing social club. I completed a four year bachelor's degree in Social Care.
