About Megan

We have absolutely loved having Megan as our nanny! She originally came to us through a family member she had previously nannied for, and having that personal recommendation meant a lot to me. She also had years of hands-on experience caring for children of different ages through both her family and her professional experience, which gave me a lot of confidence bringing her into our home. Megan has been with our family for over a year, and she is truly so kind and compassionate. It’s obvious how much she cares about my kids. My son adores her, and she has become such an important person in his life. She gets him out of the house, takes him to the park, plays outside with him, and finds fun things for them to do together. She has also been very involved in his development, teaching him a lot of sign language and working with him on communicating, learning new words, and other age-appropriate skills. She is incredibly respectful of me as a parent. She follows our routines and preferences with things like schedules and nutrition, is very communicative, and always checks with me before taking the kids anywhere or doing something outside of our normal routine. If something seems different or she’s unsure about anything, she asks. I can go to work knowing my kids are safe, loved, and well cared for, and as a mom, that peace of mind is huge. Our family also went through a big transition while she was with us when we welcomed our second child. Megan was such a tremendous support during that time. She kept my toddler’s routine consistent, helped keep our household moving, and was just such a lovely person to have around. She later transitioned to caring for both of our boys and handled the different needs of two little ones so naturally. One of my favorite things about her is that she walks through our door with a smile on her face, genuinely happy to see my kids. You can tell that she truly enjoys being with them, and I think that says so much about the kind of nanny she is. The only reason our time with Megan is ending is because she is moving. Otherwise, we would have happily kept her for as long as she wanted to stay with us. She has become such a special part of our lives, and we are going to miss having her here. I would recommend her wholeheartedly. Whoever gets her next is very lucky!
