About Megan

Hi all, my name is Megan and I love working with kids! I have 3 younger brothers, 1 of which is autistic. I grew up caring for my brothers, as well as babysitting throughout middle and high school. After high school, I worked at a dude ranch in Colorado as an elementary counselor. This meant ensuring the safety of up to 15 kids around horses, rugged terrain, and other factors. This job was by far one of the most amazing and fulfilling things i've done. The summer after I worked as a youth counselor and intern at a summer camp. There I worked as a lifeguard, counselor, and activity leader. I had the opportunity to be able to help and teach kids things they never had been able to before, such as swimming and ropes course. I was responsible for their safety as well as coming up with fun activities and education games. I've also worked as a lifeguard for Soaring Eagle Waterpark. I genuinely love working with kids and am hoping to find a good family to work with!
