About Megan

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, energetic, and outgoing. I love working with children because they learn so quickly and remind me how to have fun while exploring the world with curiosity. I graduated from UCCS with my Bachelor's degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Education (IECE) and currently work full-time as a Lead Teacher at the UCCS Family Development Center. Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children is always my top priority. I have a wide range of experience working with children, including long-term babysitting throughout my youth, assisting in a preschool, working as a lifeguard, and now leading a classroom in a professional childcare setting. My skills include positive guidance, conscious discipline, and supporting sensory processing needs. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with my roommates, attending church, and hiking or exploring outdoors.
