About Megan

I would describe myself as reliable, flexible, and nurturing. Caring for children is my passion--I love watching them learn, grow, and develop into unique individuals. I believe shaping a better world starts with raising kind, confident children. I began babysitting at 13 and have worked with kids ever since. Growing up in a large family helped develop my natural caregiving role early on. I worked in a daycare for several years before becoming a certified elementary teacher, and I've been teaching fifth grade for four years. I'm currently seeking a summer position where I can support families while also spending time with my son. My strengths include behavior management, staying calm in emergencies, and building strong, trusting relationships to create a safe, structured, and positive environment where children can thrive.
