About Meggy

Hello! I am an experienced childcare professional with over a decade of experience working with children from infancy to middle school. In addition to childcare, I have extensive tutoring experience. I enjoy breaking down challenging concepts and designing creative learning solutions, helping students build confidence and independence. As a private nanny for 3 years, I created a supplementary curriculum for children during Covid times when virtual learning fell short of a well rounded education. I have been employed at a Day School for 3 years working with preschoolers as well as teaching elementary afterschool students. I created a summer camp and curriculum designing engaging daily activities, arts and crafts, field trips, creative projects, games, music lessons, swimming and sports. I enjoy being engaged and active with children, exploring parks and nature, taking them out in their community to play and learn, fostering a structured and fun environment where they can thrive!
