I'm an energetic, passionate, caring and responsible care giver and teacher. I'm currently a Special Education teacher in the local area. I obtained my Master's degree in Literacy instruction from UAlbany for grades B-6th as well as my early childhood degree. I have been teaching since 2014 but I have been in the education field my entire life. I come from a family full of educators. I've babysat as well as tutored for multiple families with multiple children. I have also have experience with children that have special needs such as Autism, Emotional Disturbance, ADHD and Asperger's and Down syndrome. The children I've cared for range in age from 3 months to high school age. I have also worked in a daycare for several years prior to my teaching career. I'm addition, I'm free prior to the start of the school day for before care! I am also free ALL summer since I'm a teacher! I would love the opportunity to speak with regarding summer care! Meghan was a fantastic nanny for both my girls for almost 3 months. She is responsible, caring, honest, communicative and on-time throughout her employment with me. She is also open minded in receiving feedback and guidance on how I would like my babies to be cared for, yet still offering her advice based on her extensive experience when watching the development of my girls! I would highly recommend her to any family!
