About Melalai

Hi! My name is Melalai , I'm 18 years old and I have about 2 years of childcare experience, including working in a Montessori school and caring for children of different ages. I've worked with infants, toddlers, and older children, and I also have experience with overnight care. I'm comfortable helping with routines, meals, playtime, activities, homework, and making sure children feel safe, supported, and cared for. While I'm comfortable with all ages, I especially enjoy working with older kids because I love getting to know their personalities, having conversations, doing fun activities, and keeping them engaged. I'm patient, dependable, caring, and I always want parents to feel comfortable knowing their children are in good hands. A little bit about me: This fall, I will be a student at the University at Buffalo. I'm also pursuing aviation flight training, and I bring that same focus, discipline, and responsibility into my childcare work.
