About Melanie

I started babysitting for my twin cousins when I was just 12 years old. They lived right down the street from me and I cared for them up until I was about 16 years old. After gaining a handful of knowledge about the in's and out of care-giving, I was able to gain more experience as word-of-mouth traveled quickly throughout the neighborhood and community where I lived in. I quickly became CPR certified at a young age and was babysitting almost every weekend. I started offering night services in my junior year of high-school to a close family that traveled often on the weekend, but couldn't yet bring their two boys. I was a full time weekend caregiver where my duties included meal preparation and light cooking, bringing children to and from activities, supervising play dates, assisting with homework and reading skills, in addition to making bedtime a fun experience with storytelling, reading, or whatever practice that family needed. I am easy to get along with and I have been babysitting and conducting overnight stays, including caring for the client's pets as well, for several years now. It brings me great joy to help children learn and maintain their day-to-day routine.
