I reinstated my profile, because I miss spending time with kids and making family's lives easier. For the last 10 years, I've had a business as a Life & Leadership coach, and while I am still fully engaged with that, my primary work prior was as a full-time, live-in nanny. I want to diversify my work and bring my skills to making your family's lives easier. As a few friends have been having kids, I've missed the daily sweet firsts of little ones, curious questions of the older kids, and the mentorship of middle school and up. I actually decided to open up my profile again after holding a friend's newborn! I started working with kids after getting my babysitter's certification at age 10, babysitting neighborhood kids and eventually going on to live-in with three families in China, Miami, and San Diego. I also had a couple live-out FT and PT nanny positions. I was a child welfare case worker and have worked for two daycares. I also worked as a lifeguard for a Girl Scout camp.
