About Melanie

Hello! My name is Melanie, and I am a nanny pursuing my BS in Psychology. I have 11 years of childcare experience, beginning from volunteering in a church nursery. I have worked with 5 wonderful families through Care. com and have cared for twins, multiple children, newborns, infants, toddlers, and school age children. I have extensive experience caring for children with developmental, behavioral and speech disorders/delays. I integrate techniques such as Montessori, child-led problem solving and respectful caregiving, to help nurture your child into the best little person they can be! I am happy to prepare meals, assist with schoolwork, and provide light housekeeping when necessary. I also speak English and Spanish fluently, have my own transportation, do not smoke and love cats and dogs. My background check and Child Clearances are available upon request.
