About Melina

I've always been passionate about supporting families and providing a reliable childcare option for them, which is why I became a childcare provider. I have an associates degree in child development and a certificate in early child development. I'm currently work at a Preschool in Los Altos, so I have experience working with children ages 2 and up. I'm patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred method, whether it's verbal communication at pickup, regular updates via text, or phone calls. Since I follow the parents' lead, I'm comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm comfortable caring for two child at a time and have experience with children aged 2-11 and 12+. I also speak English and Spanish. I have a car, and I'm comfortable with pets.
