About Melinda

Hello! I have been working with children from birth to high school in a variety of situations my entire adult life. Prior to earning my degree in Elementary Education, I babysat, worked in child care centers, and volunteered in children's programming at church. After obtaining my degree I continued to work in educational child care centers in various classrooms, I taught fourth grade for seven years, moved back to the child care realm with positions in management, and most recently, worked as a house manager and nanny for a family for the last four years. Currently working as a substitute teacher in Wake County Public Schools, but looking to find a family that would utilize my varied experience to benefit their family. Personally I have been married for almost 33 years and have two adult daughters.
