About Melissa

I worked as an LPN for an OBGYN clinic for 23 years. I love being a nurse, but being a nurse in today's world is very challenging. I recently left the healthcare field because I was no longer able to give patients the time and attention I felt they needed. I am a very caring and outgoing person that loves to help people! I love providing companionship and care for people with health issues related to aging specifically dementia and memory care. Due to recent family circumstances, I have gained a great deal of knowledge and experience with spinal cord injuries. I am happy to provide light house cleaning, laundry, meal prep, errands, transportation, social interaction and companionship. I am also experienced and comfortable with medication administration, hygiene maintenance and bathing. I have a little dog so I have no problem with pets. I look forward to working with clients and families one on one.
