About Melissa

Hello! My name is Melissa. I am currently a college student studying Early Childhood & Youth Development. I have worked at a child care for 4. 5 years, but have about 8 years of experience with children. This includes babysitting and being a Sunday school teacher. I have also worked for a family with children aged 3 and 9 as their summer nanny! While working at the child care, I have been a lead teacher in both the toddler room (1. 5-2. 5 yrs old) and the school age room (5-7 yrs old). I also have a large amount of experience in an infant room (6 weeks-16 months). I am CPR/First AID certified and have reliable transportation. I enjoy teaching children new things and watching them use their curiosity to navigate the world. I also enjoy planning creative activities and being outside.
