About Melissa

Nurturing children is something I truly love, and I enjoy supporting their growth, confidence, and curiosity. I have 6 years of childcare experience, including my current role as a lead teacher with Early Child Development coursework. I hold degrees in Fashion Design and Ministry and am CPR/First Aid certified. I also have experience supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities through caregiving and mentoring, including daily living support, emotional guidance, and building independence. My style is patient, creative, and attentive. I enjoy art, music, outdoor activities, and educational play, and I love learning each child's unique interests to help them thrive. I am comfortable caring for up to two children, following household routines, and providing updates in your preferred communication style. I'm also happy to help with light cooking and meal prep. My goal is to be a reliable, caring support for families, and I would love to connect.
