About Melissa

Hi! My name is Melissa, and I'm a recent NYU graduate and Public Affairs Intern with experience supporting families through childcare, household responsibilities, and pet care. Through my ongoing family-assistant role, I've been trusted to care for a family's dog, Hugo, and their home while they travel. My responsibilities have included morning and evening walks, feeding, maintaining his routine, administering nightly oral medication, providing companionship, handling household tasks, and keeping the family updated. I'm responsible, organized, attentive, and respectful of pets' routines and families' homes. I take following instructions, communicating clearly, and keeping pets comfortable and safe very seriously. I'm especially interested in dog walking, in-home pet sitting, and overnight or extended care. I regularly travel to New York City for work and have flexibility for longer stays in NYC and the surrounding area.
