Hi, I am a proud mom of four grown children. I loved being a stay at home mom with them, where I could watch them grow in a safe environment. Once all four were in school, I decided to go back to work, but I still wanted to help others. I started working at a national nonprofit organization, where I worked in a group home caring for individuals with disabilities. I looked after the same core group of individuals for almost 20 years. I have also worked in the day care industry as well as babysitting from home for friends and neighbors when my children were young. At this time, I am a full time nanny for a wonderful family. It's time for pre-school for my young charge now so I am currently looking for my next child/children to care for. I am reliable, kind and have so much room left in my heart to watch over your loved ones like they are my own. Melissa has been with our family since March 2023, when our daughter was 7 months old. Over the three years she has been extremely reliable, flexible, and consistently on time, which has meant so much to us as working parents. Her communication is excellent - she always keeps us updated on my daughter's day and is very easy to work with. What stands out is how engaged she is with my daughter. She doesn't just supervise - she actively plays with her - playing dress up, doing crafts, dancing, etc. It's clear she genuinely enjoys spending time with children. She has also helped my daughter with major milestones - potty training, learning her numbers and letters, using scissors, and so much more. We are so grateful for the care, patience, and consistency she has provided over the years! Any family would be lucky to have her!
