About Melissa

I am a certified elementary education teacher w/ VPK cert. I have taught in the Broward County Public school system teaching grades PK-3. I took years off to raise my kids (I have 3; 1 married in NC, 1 in Colorado, and 1 home finishing senior year of high school). They are my pride and joy even if they are all grown up! I work as a substitute teacher at a small school. I like subbing, it allows me to work with children of all ages & flexibility. I have been able to fly to visit my boys on breaks and I have been able to be home for my daughter this final school year. I enjoy reading, traveling, family time, shopping, cooking, and arts and crafts. I am looking to help a family out after school, weekends, or evenings and to earn a little extra income to help with my daughter's move to school out of state. I am reliable, experienced, bilingual (Spanish), have my own transportation with an excellent driving record, and have the highest level of security clearance due to my school job.
