About Melissa

Hi! My name is Melissa and i'm 20 years old. I hope that i'll have the opportunity to babysit for you! I've been babysitting through care. com for a little over two years now and have experience caring for kids ages 4-11 years old. I've previously babysat for families in Glenview, Lake Zurich, Lake Forest, and Mount Prospect. As a young adult, I feel that I have a good way of connecting with the kids that I am caring for in a way that helps them to feel understood rather than coming off as their ultimate and supreme authority. I love doing fun activities with the kids that I care for and teaching them things that I used to do as a child as well. While having fun and goofing off is a major part of my personality, I also understand the importance of safety in a child's life and have always been protective of the kids that I am responsible of watching.
