About Melissa

I am a dedicated and compassionate caregiver with a strong background in both childcare and supporting the elderly. As a proud mother of seven and a foster mother through DCF, I bring years of hands-on experience, patience, and understanding to every family I work with. Caring for children of all ages has given me the ability to handle a wide range of needs with empathy, structure, and reliability. Professionally, I have worked for the past 10 years in the school system as a Head of Kitchen, where I have developed strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments while caring for the needs of others. Now that my children are growing older, I am looking to take on additional hours doing what I love most--caring for others. I am dependable, nurturing, and committed to creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment for both children and adults alike.
